About Springville

Our private recording studio is located in Springville, California, a small, peaceful community in Tulare County nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, known for its rural feel, strong arts scene, and access to outdoor recreation like hiking, swimming in the Tule River, and camping in the Sequoia National Forest.

We’re conveniently located:
-20 minutes from the majestic Tule River
-45 minutes from Hidden Falls Campground
-1 hour from the town of Three Rivers, entrance to the Sequoia National Park
-1 hour from the remote mountain towns of Camp Nelson, Pierpoint and Ponderosa
-2.5 hours from Yosemite National Park
-3 hours from Los Angeles

Lodging and Amenities

Battle Mountain Sound sits on 8 acres of private national forest, and offers free camping for all of our artists looking to connect with their inner nature. For an additional fee, camping supplies, kits, and pre-made meals are available for purchase.

Our on-site artist lodging is currently in development, opening in 2027.
